Labrador Retrievers

The Labrador Retriever is a very well rounded companion.  Perhaps known best for their instinct and ability to hunt, this dog can also excel in areas where scent association is primary such as service with law enforcement (drugs, bombs, search and rescue).  Therapy work (visiting hospitals etc.) as well as working for the disabled / handicapped. This breed has a long resume of successes, is very loyal and always willing to please.

Our adult females range from approx. 62lbs. to 70lbs., and the males from 74lbs. To 95lbs.

The Labrador is a shedding breed and will drop hair usually in the spring and then again in the fall.  They are what I call my ‘wash and wear’ dogs.  They are easy to brush and need only occasional bathing.
